Here are a couple of healthy warm broth recipes to help you clean out and get through a hunger crisis. Drink only as much as you feel comfortable. Drink the broth whenever you like just as long as it’s in between juices.
3-4 potatoes, peeled and diced
1 small onion, diced
3 stalks of fresh grown celery, thinly sliced
2-3 fresh grown carrots, thinly sliced
Cayenne pepper (optional)
1 large handful of greens such as kale or chard, chopped
Place ingredients in 3 quarts (about 3 liters) of boiling purified or spring water and simmer covered for 30 minutes, strain the liquid, discard the veggies and drink. Optional: add 3 tablespoons of Miso and stir in. Enjoy 1-2 bowls of this warm vegetable broth at a time. Refrigerate and save the remaining portion of your soup for the remaining days of your cleanse.
Note: If you ever find that the rate of cleansing is too much for you, having a bowl of homemade vegetable soup calms the process.
1 Organic Beet, peeled and chopped
2 Organic Carrots, thinly chopped
10 Organic Garlic Cloves, minced
½ Organic Onion , chopped
1 Teaspoon Himalayan Crystal Salt
½ Teaspoon Organic Turmeric
½ Teaspoon Organic Oregano
Place ingredients in 3 quarts (about 3 liters) of purified or spring water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and then simmer for 60 minutes, strain the liquid, discard the veggies and drink. Refrigerate and save the remaining portion of your soup for tomorrow’s evening meal
Note: The liver broth is a combination of foods which are high in naturally occurring sulphur and glutathione to help maximize the liver's ability to detoxify and cleanse. Other liver cleansing foods are artichoke, asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, kale, brussel sprouts, and cauliflower which may also be added to the soup if you wish.
